A few things about my self in question/answer form:
What first inspired you to start writing a blog?
Well I started blogging a few years ago, so this is not my first blog…just my first in poetry. I have a spiritual blog called A Soul’s Journey listed under my other blogs, where I have shared my spiritual journey. I love blogging and sharing with others what inspires me!
If you traveled through time, what time would you want to arrive at and why?
Probably back to when I had my first child, if I could have the mindset that I have now. I would do things so differently with the way in which I taught my children spirituality.
Do you prefer to eat chocolate, sweets or neither?
Anyone who knows me at all knows I have rather a fetish for dark chocolate…
Do you prefer to read or write?
As much as I love to write, nothing in the world could take the place of reading for me!
What is your favorite genre of writing and why?
I can’t say I have a favorite, although poetry is my first love to write, most especially haiku!
What is your favorite non-fiction topic to read about and why?
I cannot read enough on spirituality. Right now I am reading all about the Tantrick path in Sanatana Dharma. I am also studying Ayurveda, the chakras, and astrology.
If you could buy one book that would help you solve a problem in your life, what would it be and why?
The Bhagavad Gita for sure! It has all the answers for life. I have it obviously and read it regularly.
Do you prefer to write at night or during the day?
Most definitely during the day…late morning or early afternoon. I am no longer a night owl so am in bed by 10pm, usually reading myself to sleep.
If you could be any character from a book, who would you be and why?
I would have to say Eowyn from Lord of the Rings….she was so courageous and loyal and she single-handedly took out the Witch King…she is bad-ass and beautiful!
Do you prefer to read a printed book or an e-Book?
I love my Kindle Fire, but nothing is more wonderful than to feel the pages of a book in your hand…Getting a new book is like having Christmas over and over again!
