Kissing

Kissing

Kissing
Like the way skin feels in the breeze
After an ocean swim.
Titillating
Prickles of pure sensation.

Or dark
A fierce needing,
The way shadows hug the night,
Wrapping their black bodies
Around everything.

Mindless lips
Soaking up
Every last drop of moisture,
The way the earth absorbs rain
Without hesitation.

Or the way the ocean surf rides
The sand and then releases,
Leaving in its wake
An unforgettable impression.

Kissing
Like free falling off a cliff,
Steals your breath
But leaves you wanting more,
Always more.
