Spring Anew

Earth and sky begin the dance of foreplay.
His subtle, warm breath blows across her budding folds.
She opens perforce, no reluctance to obey,
Enticed by his gusty fervor, nothing holds
Her blossoming ardor, sweet is her nectarous bouquet.
He showers her budded flower in drops of dew
As he sings the Mockingbird’s song.
And earth and sky make love anew.
