The Woman of your Dreams

I want to be the woman
of your dreams, come to life.
The one who steals your breath
and breathes life back into you.

I want to be the woman
standing at your side, your constant.
The one who takes your hand,
and lets it go when you need to fly.

I want to be the woman
who feels your love, each night.
The one who touches every part of you
planting kisses on your soul.

I want to be the woman
who shelters you from pain, an angel.
The one who dries your tears
and makes you smile knowing I need you.

I want to be the woman
who never turns away from you.
The one who weathers every storm
and loves you truly, deeply, madly.

I want to be the woman
that every woman envies, because of you.
The one who makes your life complete
and when I’m gone, a part of you is too.
