The Rose

Rose blooms, now wilting

Does she know that she’s dying

Still lovely in death

Once, a sweet essence

Her life now ebbing away

Beautiful demise

Now, fallen petals

Tell the stories of her life

Captured on the wind

Rose buds, a rebirth

A familiar scent, heady

She blooms once again
